The Act Six Leadership and Scholarship Initiative is the Northwest's only full-tuition, full-need scholarship for emerging urban and community leaders who want to use their college education to make a difference on campus and in their communities at home.

Final Phase III Campus Visits
Scheduled for January
Selected from 975 applicants, 167 Act Six semifinalists will visit
eight partner colleges across the Northwest this January in the final phase of
competition for 65 full leadership scholarships. Be sure to follow the complete selection process

Act Six Celebrates George Fox and Whitworth Graduates
On April 30, the first cadre of Portland scholars
(and one scholar from the second cadre) graduated from George Fox University and on May 15, the
fifth cadre of Tacoma and Seattle Act
Six scholars graduated from Whitworth University with records of
distinguished leadership, service and academic achievement.
This brings the total number of Act Six alumni to 50.

New Act Six Scholars Named
We are proud to announce that 66 students from Tacoma, Seattle,
Portland, Spokane and the Yakima Valley have been named 2011 Act Six
scholars at eight Northwest colleges. Collectively, their
scholarships are worth nearly $8 million over four years.
